Risk and Safety Intelligence Updates - Period 11 2021-22

In Period 11 we supported Network Rail with European Train Control System (ETCS) implementation, and industry groups to promote risk understanding and safety improvements on topics from level crossings to trespass to line blockages. We also published our new SMIS Charter, which explains what the Safety Management Intelligence System (SMIS) is, the role of each contributing organisation, and how we keep the system and its data fit-for-purpose.
