This Code of Practice provides guidance to ensure occupational competence and fitness of individuals who undertake the duties of a Mentor Driver within the scope of this document. To provide a level of occupational experience, guidance and reassurance to an inexperienced OTM/train Driver (Probationary Driver) or, Specially Monitored Driver, in connection with a Special Monitoring Programme to mitigate operational risk.
