Control Facilities for use during Lineside Signalling Failures
Synopsis
This document contains the mandatory requirements for use during failures of the lineside signalling system to enable operations to continue safely and without undue delay. The principal requirements support a signal aspect, to be known as the proceed-on-sight authority (PoSA), and the provision of signallers releases. The operational context shall determine where these facilities are to be provided.
