Energy Standards Committee Standards Strategy

The Energy Standards Committee (ENE SC) Strategy addresses key areas that are particularly relevant for 2019-2024. These are: traction decarbonisation; battery and hydrogen technology; the addition of new electrified routes into the GB mainline railway, or other routes that interface with it; using SMIS data and the Safety Risk Model to understand how energy standards reduce risk.
