Making it easier to change standards
Featured story

RSSB has just made it even easier for rail companies to propose changes to standards and the Rule Book via its website.

A new simple form and a range of options for getting in touch with the technical experts at RSSB are now available, making it easier to put forward proposals to create, amend or withdraw standards which RSSB manages.

The process covers all RSSB-managed standards including Rail Industry Standards (RIS), Rail Industry Guidance Notes (GN), Railway Group Standards, and National Operations Publications (NOPs) including the Rule Book.

By capturing the right information and offering the right advice and support up front, the standards committees will be in a much more informed position to discuss and decide relevant changes, hopefully meaning a quicker process.
