Prior to attempting the test, please read the RSSB document The recommended approach for identifying valid fire testing requirements for vehicles.

Vehicle fire standards - knowledge self-assessment test

The Vehicle Fire Standards Knowledge Self-assessment Test helps you to gauge your understanding and directs you to further guidance. The self-assessment test is anonymous. RSSB will only collect personal data on your role and what part of industry you work in. We will also collect anonymous data on the test scores. This will enable us to measure which parts of the industry have used the self-assessment and to broadly gauge the level of understanding of the relevant topic. This information will allow RSSB to improve its content.

Once you have submitted your completed assessment, you will immediately receive tailored feedback for each of the questions you have attempted. This will contain information and links to further reading that will help you understand where there might be gaps in your knowledge.

If you feel that you will benefit from additional training on vehicle fire standards, please email wayne.murphy@rssb.co.uk.
