Mike Brown CBE MVO appointed as Chair of HS2

The Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) is delighted to congratulate Mike Brown CBE MVO on his appointment as the Chair of HS2. Mike, who has served as chair of RSSB for the past three years, will bring a wealth of leadership experience and expertise to this nationally significant infrastructure project.

During his time at RSSB, Mike has been instrumental in driving the organisation’s commitment to safety, sustainability, innovation, and industry collaboration. His dedication and strategic vision have been invaluable in delivering enhanced services and value to RSSB’s members.

Mark Phillips, CEO of RSSB, paid tribute to Mike’s contribution, saying: ‘I have been very fortunate to work with Mike at RSSB for the past three years.
