An effective method for the rail industry to manage health and wellbeing is to design out the health hazards related to new or renewed assets and processes before they can be put into the rail system. If we cannot design them out, we can lower the risk and impact of the hazard. On behalf of our industry members RSSB has developed health by design web pages to support capability improvements in this area. As industry capability develops so will the health by design web page content.
