What do you get out of RSSB membership?

In the past DRS has possibly not taken full advantage of the many benefits that RSSB membership affords. Almost on a weekly basis we are now becoming aware of the many areas that RSSB can support our business and we are now beginning to see some of those benefits come to fruition. If you, like us, are not sure how much RSSB has to offer then take a look, you may be pleasantly surprised!

Your level of involvement with RSSB

Despite being geographically remote from many other rail organisations, DRS attempts to play a full and active role in many industry forums such as Rail Freight Operations Group (RFOG), Dangerous Goods Working Group (DGWG), National Freight Safety Group (NFSG) and all of the associated working groups..

Membership benefits

DRS are working more closely with RSSB and can already see significant benefits across a number of areas. These include greater utilisation of JasperSoft to improve data reporting and trend analysis, strengthened ‘close call’ and accident reporting and utilisation of the risk profile tool.

DRS has shared the excellent work being undertaken in common areas such as sustainability to our parent body the NDA to help in the development of sustainability plan improvements across all of their sites.
