This document is primarily used to publish minor changes to National Operations Publications (NOPs) and has been re-issued, taking into consideration amendments to NOPs.

Changes are necessary to GORT3053 Working manual for rail staff handling and carriage of dangerous goods, to keep the document aligned with the RID Regulations which are updated for 2019. The term ‘subsidiary risk has been changed to ‘subsidiary hazard’ which requires a change to section A2 and Appendix 1. There are also changes to the details in the list of UN numbers shown in Appendix 1.
