European Train Control System: The Management of Packet 44
Synopsis
This document mandates the manner in which the packet 44 of the European Train Control System data protocol shall be managed to ensure safety and interworking.
Summary Of Changes
The requirements in GERT8064 setting out the process for the management of data protocols for applications of the packet 44 of the ETCS are not eligible to be NSRs and GERT8064 has to be withdrawan. However, as the management process for the data protocols has been identified to provide a useful benefit to the industry it has been retained in a new RIS-0784-CCS Iss 1.
