Certification and Registration of Heritage Rail Vehicles Operating on the GB Mainline Railway
Synopsis
This document defines the certification requirements for heritage rail vehicles (including steam locomotives) to enable them to be registered for operation on the GB mainline railway. The requirements to maintain certification to support continued operation are also defined. A hazard matrix to help identify hazards that can arise as part of a major heritage rail vehicle engineering project.
