RIS-2795-RST issue two sets out the requirements for RFID compatibility between train and track, including management of application codes.
Summary Of Changes
RIS-2795-RST issue two adds guidance and clarity and defines the process for applying for new application codes and how they will be included in the standard in future. RIS-2795-RST issue two also includes an open point based on a report written for Network Rail by Affini Technology, which stated that there was a potential for interference between the type of tags used for the RFID system set out in the document and the system set out in the draft RIS-0796-CCS issue one ‘Train to Trackside RFID Compatibility’.
