This document sets out requirements and guidance for train manufacturers or operators to calculate enhanced permissible speeds for curves on a particular route of the GB mainline railway.

RIS-7704-INS Iss 1 provides updated information and best practice for the Calculation of Enhanced Permissible Speeds for Tilting Trains after it was identified that the standard would require updating if there is any cascade of tilting rolling stock on to routes of which they do not currently operate.

12 mnth review - No further action required.
