In these podcast episodes we discuss how RSSB’s work impacts the day-to-day work of those on the front line: those who build and maintain trains; those who work on trains, on stations, in signal boxes and control rooms, and on the infrastructure. All in plain language.
This podcast stream will cover issues of more general interest to those who work on the railway, and particularly those at the front line, who deliver a better, safer railway for Britain. We're planning several series including one on healthy behaviours, to help you improve your wellbeing, and another on reducing road risk for those who drive for work. We will also produce episodes that discuss the work we are doing on reducing assaults on staff, and on safety and wellbeing for all workers. With a new emphasis on sustainable development, we'll look at its various aspects, including air quality and its impact on health and wellbeing.
In episode 4, two members of the RSSB Risk and Safety Analysis team talk about the headlines in our Annual Health and Safety Report, and how workers at the front line have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
We want to cover a wide range of rail industry areas. So, if there are aspects of RSSB's work you'd like to know more about, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll see what we can find out for you.
