Small Talk Saves Lives – Campaign

Small Talk Saves Lives is a joint partnership between Network Rail, Samaritans, the British Transport Police and the wider rail industry – with the shared goal of reducing the number of suicides on the rail network.

Small Talk Saves Lives asks passengers to act on their instincts if they notice someone who may need help - encouraging them to make a little small talk, which could be all it takes to interrupt somebody’s suicidal thoughts and start them on a journey to recovery.
