RSSB resumes face-to-face training

As within all industries, rail companies have a duty of care to support employees training and development to keep morale high and maintain productivity.

Since the lifting of lockdown in July 2021, RSSB has taken the necessary precautions to ensure delegates and instructors are safe for in person training courses.

RSSB’s face-to-face training has now resumed for multiple courses – including the popular accident investigation training course. This course is particularly useful for individuals that conduct investigations into operational and non-operational accidents, incidents and near misses.

The Rail Industry Standard for Accident and Incident Investigation (RIS-3119-TOM) sets out member requirements to fulfil legal obligations in investigations. This course gives delegates a detailed understanding of RIS-3119-TOM, as well as instruction on how to use best practice tools and techniques to conduct an investigation.
