The intent of RIS-0703-CCS issue one is to provide the industry with requirements for integrating the lineside signalling system with train operations and guidance on their application. Conformity with the requirements is consistent with providing the lineside signaling system that is driveable. The requirements are derived from the historical practice on the GB mainline railway.
