RIS-2004-RST Iss 1

This document sets out the arrangements by which continued conformity to standards, known as the Maintenance Plan, is achieved together with the requirements for the provision of documentation for the maintenance of rail vehicles.

GMRT2004 was reviewed in accordance with the final report of the European Commission's Task Force on National Safety Rules (NSRs). The review concluded it duplicated European and national legislation, and could not be retained as a NSR nor as a RGS. Its requirements remain valid and its status has been changed to a RIS.

The 5 year review of this document is now complete and will be revised under a new or existing project.
