This document details the requirements for identifying the need for, introduction and subsequent removal of, restrictions to normal operations to mitigate the effects of the non-operation of track circuits during the leaf fall contamination period.

A correction has been made to specify special working arrangements (SWA) be implemented following ‘more than two’ occurrences, clarification has been made to better distinguish between the requirements and guidance on options for implementing SWA, and guidance included on defining an ‘occurrence’.
