Level Crossing Operational Interfaces with Trains
Synopsis
This document sets out control, command and signalling requirements and guidance for level crossing functionality, so that it is compatible with infrastructure manager operations at stations and railway undertaking operations.
Summary Of Changes
The requirements on positioning stop signals from GKRT0192 have been withdrawn and new guidance has been provided in RIS-0792-CCS to support the positioning of stop signals at level crossings. Additional guidance has been included to support the upgrade of AOCLs to have barriers without requiring a telephone. Content on ETC has been withdrawn as it is covered by the ERTMS reference design. Amendments to GKRT0192 have been incorporated in RIS-0792-CCS Iss 1.
