Curating Rail Travel Through Personal Data (COF-MLD-01)

The aim of this PhD project was to investigate information provision during rail travel, with a focus on increasing its appeal to all passengers, particularly during disruption. This included investigating the manner in which rail passengers collect and use information during the course of rail journeys, both in general, and during disruption; exploring the idea of passenger knowledge, or expertise, and the manner in which it might influence these processes; and creating a framework for successful information delivery.
