Understanding the influence of different platform edge step/gap arrangements on boarding and alighting accidents (T1080)

This project was developed to support the platform-train interface (PTI) strategy objective to optimise step/gap dimensions. Its aim was to provide a greater understanding of the influences that the step/gap size has on boarding and alighting risk, and to develop a classification of selected step/gap sizes by risk.
