Novel sensors for condition monitoring of earthworks (COF-SIN-01)

This PhD project is investigating the embedding of low cost and rugged thick film (TF) electrodes in earthworks to see if they can detect changes in soil parameters that could indicate earthwork displacement in cuttings and embankments.
