Frontline Leaders Training
Course overview
Over a two-year period, we did research into management and leadership skills for frontline staff. This shows that the effective leadership and management skills of frontline leaders are linked to many benefits. These include positive safety outcomes, increased staff retention and commitment, and improved staff and organisational performance. As a result, developing operational frontline leadership is an essential part of safe and efficient performance in rail. This course is designed to help organisations upskill their operational leaders who work at the frontline.
The course aims to raise the individual’s awareness of their leadership style. It also increases individual’s awareness of their leadership styles shown by their colleagues. It explores a range of challenges in communication and gives delegates practice in coaching and feedback skills.
The course has a blend of best practices, self-evaluation, and practical activities. This helps individuals effectively apply what they learn on the course to real-world situations. This improves their effectiveness as leaders as well as their organisational performance.
