Synopsis
This handbook is for those personnel who need to go on the operational railway in an AC electrified area to carry out their duties.
Summary Of Changes
Section 3.1 has been changed to make it clear what is meant by overhead line equipment (OLE) being made safe, and that the OLE must still be treated as dangerous. Section 7 has been changed to state that the electricity must always be switched off before a person above or near to the OLE is approached.
