FRMCS & GSM-R Guidance Sub-group
"FGG SG is promoting the development and deployment of the new FRMCS. This is replacing GSM-R to meet the needs of the industry, and supports the delivery of the Rail Technical Strategy. FGG SG advises on the consistent implementation of common standards that can be applied to any part of the GB Rail network where there is a business benefit."
Scope
The scope of FGG SG is defined in its remit. The group aims to provide advice and guidance to ensure FRMCS, the successor of GSM-R, is integrated effectively and efficiently into the Railway Industry. This will support the delivery of the Rail Technical Strategy.
