Review of existing rolling stock against new and upgraded electrification compliant with the Energy TSI (T1001)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the potential impact that the new TSI voltage and current limits may have on existing rolling stock under normal and fault conditions. In particular, it aimed to evaluate the risk associated with increasing the allowable AC fault current level and the tolerable short term maximum voltage Umax2 for GB train fleets.
