Research into positioning railway signals on the approach to level crossings (T1007)
While most of the safety risk at level crossings is due to the behaviour of users (around 90%) there is also a safety risk at those crossings protected by signals where a Signal Passed at Danger (SPAD) could lead to a train travelling onto the crossing with users present.
