Coexistent operation of ERTMS and Class B (AWS and TPWS) systems (T1079)

The main aim of this research was to ensure drivers are presented with consistent train protection system behaviour and functionality via the European Train Control System (ETCS) driver-machine interface (DMI), irrespective of the train protection system supplier or train class. There are two versions of the ETCS DMI, touch screen and softkey, and both were considered by the research.
