Optimal design and deployment of obstacle deflectors & lifeguards (T189)

This project reviewed the effectiveness of train obstacle deflectors and lifeguards in preventing derailments, determined if design improvements were necessary, and undertook a cost benefit analysis for retrofitting obstacle deflectors to the High Speed Train Fleet.
