Understanding aerodynamic influences of vehicle design on wheel/rail leaf contamination (T546)

The aim of this work was to identify the key aerodynamic features of train design that influence rail contamination. Having achieved this, the knowledge was to be used to aerodynamically rank current vehicles by their low adhesion performance.
