This research was commissioned to investigate how Britain's rail industry can make better use of test results from other environments, minimise the amount of further testing that is required to demonstrate with sufficient confidence that new equipment is fit to operate in the railway environment and investigate whether customer testing results in significant and unreasonable barriers to introduction of innovative solutions for GB railways.
