Lasers: SSR for Ballast Smoothing Equipment using V" Laser Control (Class 3A)"
Synopsis
These Regulations apply to ballast smoothing equipment using a 'V' laser controller. These regulations assume that the equipment uses a Class 3A parallel beam laser, constrained such that it can be emitted only ahead of the vehicle, so that in normal operation the beam is directed towards the ground approximately 30 meters ahead.
