Ultrasonic Testing of Fishplated Joints
Synopsis
This procedure shall be applied to examine that area of a rail within the limits of the fishplate. The purpose of the procedure is to detect horizontal cracks, cracks at bolt holes and cracks at 19mm diameter bond holes.
