COP0014 Iss 6

This document details the requirements, actions and control measures to be put in place when trailers and / or attachments are rail mounted, working with RRVs and RMMMs. Following the measures set out in this code of practice ensures, as far as reasonably practicable, that the brakes of the trailers and attachments are suitable and sufficient before they are given a chance to move. The COP mandates the connection and use of service brakes and includes guidance on what to do if defective brakes are found.
