This instruction details how to carry out Maintenance work on these asbestos type arc chutes and conforms with the requirements of the current Health and Safety Commission Regulations. The frequency of inspection shown shall be regarded as normal, but may be increased at the discretion of the Area Electrification Engineer, where local conditions require this.
