The intent of GEGN8651 issue one is to provide industry with guidance on assessment of changes that affect the interfaces between Control Command and Signalling (CCS) systems and train operations. It also helps Transport Undertakings and Proposers assess whether a planned change to a lineside signalling layout, or the way it is used, is fit for purpose in supporting the train driving task by establishing the adequacy of the presentation of information, by the lineside signalling system, to train drivers.
12 month review - No further action required.
02/05/2025 - CCS SC, at its March 25 meeting, approved the 60m review recommendation. Point release to be issued.
