You will need this handbook if you carry out the duties of the machine controller (MC) and on-track plant operator on ERTMS lines.
Summary Of Changes
RIS-1710-PLT Iss 1 - 'Rail Industry Standard for Engineering Certification of Railborne Plant' was published in December 2015 and this included the creation and accreditation of Plant Assessment Bodies (PABs). PABs now issue an Engineering Conformance Certificate (ECC). Amendments 8000-HB15 Iss 4 AM001 and 8000-HB15 ERTMS Iss 2 AM001 have now been incorporated into HB15 and HB15 ERTMS, to include reference to the ECC issued by PABs.
