GERT8000-P1 Iss 2
Single line working
Synopsis
Rule Book module GERT8000-P1 sets out the requirements for the pilotman, signallers and drivers when one line of a double line becomes blocked and trains have to travel over the remaining line in either direction.
Issue 2 contains new instructions regarding warning people on or near the line that single line working has been imposed or withdrawn. Full details of changes to module P1 can be found in the Rule Book briefing leaflet for changes coming into force in December 2008.
