GERT8051 was reviewed as part of the industry Strategy for Standards Management (SSM). The review concluded that none of the requirements within the standards were in space because they duplicate legislation and related to a single duty holder's responsibility. However, details previously published in Appendix A (Summary of the Rule Book modules), and Appendix B (Summary of contents and applicability of Rule Book modules), have been retained as guidance and published within the RSSB website on the section dedicated to the Rule Book and other National Operations Publications. This Railway Group Standard has been reviewed as part of the industry Strategy for Standards Management (SSM). The review, by applying the 'filter' criteria specified in the SSM, concluded that none of the requirements were in scope because they duplicate legislation and related to a single duty holder's responsibility. As a result it was proposed to withdraw the document. Document withdrawn 2 February 2008.
