Synopsis
This document mandates requirements for tunnel lighting systems. This document should be read in conjunction with the guidance note on the Safety in Railway Tunnels Technical Specification for Interoperability.
Summary Of Changes
GIRT7019 mandated requirements for lighting in tunnels as an interim means to ensure compliance with the requirements in the Safety in Railway Tunnels Technical Specification for Interoperability (SRT TSI). The SRT TSI now applies to the entire GB mainline network, therefore this standard is no longer required.
