Synopsis

This document defines the principles for ensuring that items of signalling and related equipment are uniquely identified. This document has been reviewed to include changes related to the identification of specific types of equipment to be used on an ERTMS fitted railway. The changes have been implemented as a small-scale change and no other issues have been addressed.
