This Code of Practice gives guidance to organisations recognised by Railtrack as a Certification Body or Vehicle Acceptance Body, and to Train Operators and other organisations with responsibilities under the engineering acceptance process for rail vehicles. It also covers the contribution of the Rolling Stock Library to the process for the engineering acceptance of rail vehicles.
