This document is issued by the British Railways Board to define the Boards requirements for continuity on Railway systems. This will ensure a continuous return circuit and the currents in the return circuit do not interfere with the operation of signalling circuits or equipment. It will also allow paralleling of return circuits to reduce overall return resistance.
