This document mandates additional requirements for the carriage of dangerous goods by rail in Great Britain.

GORT3421 was reviewed in accordance with the final report of the European Commission's Task Force on National Safety Rules (NSRs). The review concluded it duplicated European legislation, and could not be retained as a NSR nor as a RGS. Refer to the briefing note and impact assessment attached to this document for further information.
