Synopsis
GORT3436 Information for Safe Train Operation mandates requirements for information to be provided by the railway undertaking to the infrastructure manager regarding train running on Network Rail managed infrastructure. It also mandates requirements for the labelling of defective vehicles.
Summary Of Changes
GORT3436 was reviewed in accordance with the final report of the European Commission's Task Force on National Safety Rules (NSRs). The review concluded it duplicated European legislation, and could not be retained as a NSR nor as a RGS. Its requirements remain valid and are incorporated in RIS-3436-TOM Iss 1.
