This document mandates the requirements to enable trains to be dispatched from platforms. It mandates a risk assessment methodology that contributes to a safe system of train dispatch at stations, that is underpinned by a plan for implementation, and ensures, where the platform/rolling stock interface permits, a consistent process for train dispatch.
