Poster P4 Iss 1

This poster is provided by the M&EE Networking Group to remind industry that road-rail vehicles - when in rail mode, take a lot longer to stop than when in road mode on rubber tyres. It highlights that faster speeds, steeper gradients, poor maintenance and slippery rail head conditions all increase the stopping distance. Most importantly in addition it reminds users to ensure that service brake is connected.
