Synopsis
This standard sets out requirements for controlling the hazards that arise when a train changes from using one type of signalling system, or train protection system (or both), to another type. It also provides guidance on how to meet the requirements.

RIS-0036-CCS issue two contains updated requirements, rationale and guidance to address hazards arising from train protection and signalling system transitions. RIS-0036-CCS issue two is intended to be used by projects in demonstrating route compatibility and in establishing safe integration into the GB mainline railway.
